Are you working on your skills? - A message from TNT Volleyball
That's the only way to your game. The training has been going great at FUSION and we are seeing some excellent results with the athletes performing very well on the court and making good strides forward. Nothing good comes easy and hard work is required to accomplish your dreams and improve your results. Hang in there, manage your time and give your best and you'll see positive things happen. We want to encourage each of our players and parents alike to stay focused during the season and be enthusiastic about the hard work and time you and your athletes/teammates are putting in every day on and off the court. The hard work does pay off.
Icebreaker Invitational Results
The weekend was filled with lots of great volleyball against some of the best teams in the SRVA. Our teams competed well and showed improvement. Many of the matches were close with several going to three sets. It was a great environment and the volleyball was fast-paced. We are proud of the progress of our FUSION volleyball teams!

Our training is beginning to take hold and there is a buzz among our players and families that is bringing confidence to our practice and match play environments. Players are learning to be "purposeful" in their practices which will bring positive results. The more intensity we bring to the practice floor the better our results will be in our tournaments. Take full advantage of our TNT training activities and work hard at every practice. FUSION Training multiplies your results so make sure that you are in the gym practicing and doing all you can to make yourself a more complete player.

We wish our teams "all the best" as they compete this weekend. Remember that the season is a marathon and not a sprint. What matters is being able to compete and win at the end of the season. Our teams are showing great progress and improvement. It will show itself slowly as our teams get more time playing together. Keep up the energy and show your FUSION spirit! GOOOOOOOO FUSION!

Referee and Scorekeeping Clinic
All players are required to perform the duties of being referees and scorekeepers at all club volleyball tournaments. There is a required referee/scorekeeping clinic online through the SRVA website. The clinics are now posted at www.srva.org. Go to the Officials tab and click on 2011 Clinic and Test Information. You want to go to the Category 4 Junior Club Training clinics for Junior players and coaches. Please do B, #1-3 since our players will be asked to fill the roles of an R2 or "down" official, scorekeepers and linesmen. This needs to be done by January 7th!
In an effort to become a more competitive volleyball program, we are pleased to announce some very exciting changes coming your way! Magic Volleyball and Metro Atlanta Volleyball are joining forces and will now be called Fusion Volleyball. We will be adopting a new look, new colors, and incorporating strength, speed and agility training into our program. Our recent relocation to Total Athlete Sports Complex also gave us the title of being the only volleyball club in the state with its own practice and training facility dedicated to volleyball! We look forward to bringing you these new and exciting opportunities!
